2017 Robert R. Church, Sr. Achievement Award – MBDA Business of the Year
The Memphis MBDA Business Center and The Mid-South Minority Business Council Continuum (The MMBC Continuum) concluded the 2017 Minority Enterprise Development Week (MED Week) with the annual Robert R. Church Achievement Awards Luncheon. MED Week is a national program of the MBDA (Minority Business Development Agency) under the US Department of Commerce that annually recognizes the power of minority businesses.
Each year The MMBC Continuum recognizes progress toward impacting minority economic development. This year’s theme, The Supply/Demand Side of Supplier Diversity: M/WBEs Ready, Willing and Capable to Meet the Construction Demand was focused on construction and all the many other traditional and non-traditional industry sectors.
