Solomon Akinduro, Ph.D. (Founder/CEO)

Dr. Solomon Akinduro is the founder, Chief Executive Officer of ACOT Associates Group, LLC. Dr. Akinduro focuses on integration Construction Management and Engineering Design Services from planning, design, construction and occupancy with over 35 years of experience to design, managing and implementation of capital projects world-wide. Dr. Akinduro worked for fortune 500 corporations in the United States for over 30 years and another 10 years with large corporations in Sub-Saharan Africa.

He has performed key roles on various major projects including airports, stadiums, correctional, educational, healthcare, industrial, commercial, public housing, water/wastewater facilities and roads/highways, bridges and various hydraulic drainage studies.

Dr. Akinduro has been involved in determining solutions to challenging problems faced by owners during the planning, design and construction stages of development. These experiences range from cost estimating, scheduling, project management, project engineering and value engineering. He graduated from Washington University, St. Louis in 1992 and doctoral in 2006.

He is a member of the Consulting Engineers Council, American Association of Cost Engineers, American Society of Professional Estimators, Project Management Institute and past President of the Engineers Club in Memphis, Tennessee.

Daniel Akinduro (President)

Before becoming President, Mr. Akinduro worked for the City of Saint Charles Engineering Division as a Construction Inspector and Project Manager for over a year and half. He also worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for over 5 years as a Civil Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer on multiple resurfacing projects, roadway repair improvements, bridge construction, concrete pavement repair and other various related projects. In his career, he has overseen multiple projects from bridge deck sealing to superstructure construction. At ACOT, he also oversees the Construction Engineering and Inspection staff and day to day operations.

Mr. Akinduro earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering-Transportation with a Minor in Leadership Communications from Missouri S & T University and obtained a Master Certificate in Project Engineering and Construction Management from Missouri S & T University. He served as Religious Program Specialist in the US Navy who served in Iraq until medically discharged due to combat injuries.

Akinfemi Akinduro (Executive)

Before becoming Executive V.P, Mr. Akinduro worked for Michael Baker International Construction Management Division as Project Manager, Assistant Resident Engineer and Sr. Field Engineer Inspector for over 4 years on several big Chicago Transit Authority Stations Renovation Project, Illinois Tollway Authority Resurfacing Project, Airport Projects, CTA Transit Power Stations and Worked on several Arkansas Department of Transportation Projects.

In his career, he has overseen a lot of big projects from Airport expansion, University Science building, New Train Transit Stations, Train Transit Power Stations, Hotels, Federal Courthouse building, Commercial residential building and Bridge deck pavement replacement and Road projects. He has also worked on several overseas projects as well.

Mr. Akinduro earned a B.S in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is also a life coach helping people to realize their God-given potential and motivational speaker.
